 You Say I Have What! Is a story about my journey with a diagnosis of cancer and a rare disease called Amyloidosis. In 2018, my life changed forever. My story speaks of learning about my diagnosis, my struggles that included depression, grief, hopelessness, and fear. I got angry with God. I eventually gained a flicker of hope.  I am thankful to be alive.   

Amyloidosis is a rare disease. It is estimated that about  4,000 people develop Amyloidosis each year in the United States. It is a condition that affects various tissues and organs. AL Amyloidosis is the most common type of condition diagnosed in individuals with Amyloidosis. It is a systematic disease.  If left untreated, it is life threatening.  There is no known cure.
